  • Director of collegiate drug testing for Drug Free Sport.
     
  • Oversees the administration of drug-testing programs for Drug Free Sport’s 200+ collegiate clients across the country. 
     
  • Joined Drug Free Sport in 2007 from its sister company, Sports Association Management, Inc. (SAMI), where she served as a consultant to several collegiate athletic organizations including the NCAA and the Division II Athletics Directors Association. Prior to SAMI, Turpin served as the associate director of athletics, compliance coordinator and senior woman administrator at Barry University and Truman State University.
     
  • Professional history includes more than 25 years as a collegiate athletics administrator and coach. She has been a frequent presenter on NCAA compliance issues, SWA professional growth, and has served on numerous conference and NCAA committees including the NCAA Women’s Basketball Rules Committee, and is a past chair of the NCAA Division II Women’s Basketball Committee. In addition, she is an active member of the National Association of Collegiate Women Athletics Administrators (NACWAA), is a graduate of the NACWAA/HERS Leadership Institute and has previously served on their board of directors.
  • Was the first female inducted into the Culver-Stockton College Athletic Hall of Fame for her successful ten-year stint as the Head Women’s Basketball Coach.
  • Earned a Ph.D. in leadership and higher education administration from Barry University (FL), a master’s degree in sport sociology from Western Illinois University and a bachelor's degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia, where she was a four-year starter on the women's basketball team.
